Some connections leave an imprint on our hearts forever. The Imprint Memorial Ring is a beautiful and deeply personal way to capture the unique touch of someone you love and keep it close to you always.
Your loved one’s fingerprint, paw print or nose print is recreated through the casting process, allowing the individual lines, patterns and tiny details of their print to become part of the silver itself. This creates beautiful texture and depth that you can actually see and feel beneath your fingertips, making each ring incredibly personal and completely unique.
Beautifully crafted in 925 sterling silver, the ring features a substantial 7mm wide band, giving your chosen print the space to become the meaningful focus of the piece. Every fingerprint, paw print and nose print is different, meaning no two Imprint Memorial Rings will ever be exactly the same.
To create your ring, I’ll need a clear image showing the individual lines and details of the fingerprint, paw print or nose print. This does not need to be a freshly taken print or a traditional ink print.
You may already have an existing fingerprint, paw print or nose print that can be used, or even a clear, well-focused photograph where the individual lines and details are visible. Simply send me a clear photograph or scan and I can assess whether there is enough detail to create your piece.
If you have the opportunity to take a new print, there are a few easy options available. You can use a non-toxic, washable ink pad yourself and then photograph or scan the finished print.
Alternatively, once your order has been placed, I can post you a clean-touch inkless print pad to use at home. This allows you to capture a fingerprint, paw print or nose print without the finger, paw or nose coming into direct contact with the ink. Instructions will be included to help you capture the clearest print possible.
You are also very welcome to visit me at my home studio, where I can take the print for you using the same clean-touch inkless method.
The clearer the individual lines, patterns and texture are in the image or print provided, the more of those beautiful unique details can be captured when creating your piece.
